Vacation and Support
We just got back (January 9) from our time in California where we vacationed and we visited a number of our supporters.
It was great to see family and friends.
We spoke at two homes and one time at an Adult Bible Fellowship at Grace Brethren Church of Long Beach.
Cesar flew up to Sacramento at the end of December to drive to Valley Springs, CA., where he spoke at Stone Corral Community Church.
Reynosa Project
February 7-11 – I led a group of 40 adults that came to Reynosa from Rockford, IL.
They have been coming down to Matamoros, Mexico for a number of years.
Last year they came to Reynosa for the first time.
We worked with pastor Basilio at a small mission that he has in a very poor colonia in Reynosa.
See Google Earth photo. If you have access to Google Earth you will be able to see this colonia if you follow the bridge that goes into Mexico from the city of Pharr, Texas.
The colonia is directly under that bridge just south of that large canal south, which is not the Rio Grande River.
Here is a picture of the bridge and the colonia.

Global Missions Conference
Feb 20-26.
I was invited to the Global Missions Conference at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church.
There I will be talking about our ministry with AIM.
Mexico City in March
From March 2-11 I will be in Mexico City for a mission trip with a church from St. Louis, MO – Salomons Temple. We will be working with Pastor Ignacio Diaz. I meet him about two years ago in Mexico City. His church is located on the east side of Mexico City. Mexico City now has about 32,000,000 people.
This is Pastor Ignacio Diaz and his wife.
Cesar
I will be doing some traveling during the next few months.
Please pray for me.
Pray for safety as I travel.
Pray for safety at home (Jennifer, Katie and Hannah).
Pray that I would look to God for all things as I lead these AIM trips.
Jennifer
Pray for Jennifer as she homeschools Katie and Hannah and helps lead our new homeschool group.
www.harlingenhomeschoolers.com Pray also for her as she works on the Children’s Bible. It is going well, but finding time to work on it is a challenge.
Katie
Katie is currently really enjoying our new puppies. Molly, our Cocker Spaniel, just had 8 adorable puppies a week and a half ago. We have been busy making scrambled eggs, oatmeal, cooking puppy food, preparing vitamins and medicines, and doing whatever we need to help the mama take care of so many. The kittens are due any time now. We figure if you are going to homeschool, you might as well have a farm.
Here the puppies are just around 8 ounces each.
Hannah
Hannah is loving the puppies too. She is a true animal lover. Her big news is that she was hurt at a church party the night of the Super Bowl. A boy was practicing swinging a toy gulf club and accidentally hit Hannah in the forehead. She ended up going to thr ER and getting a total of 9 stitches. She spent the first part of her birthday – February 5, 12:00 am getting stitched up in the hospital. She is doing better now. The boy that hit her by accident came over with flowers, a stuffed animal and a balloon the next day. Pray for the healing of the scar area on her forehead.
Thank you for all of your prayers!!! They make such a big difference.
